Parties
These terms govern the relationship between Prism Retirement Planning Co., Ltd. (프리즘 리타이어먼트 플래닝 주식회사), Business Registration No. 110-86-39465, represented by Representative Director Jung Youngho, of Hakdong-ro 287, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea (“we”, “us”), and the individual who books or attends a consultation (“you”).
Nature of the service
We provide individual retirement planning consultations focused on retirement budgeting and income planning. The service consists of advice delivered in consultation sessions and in a written income plan. The service is planning only. We do not manage assets, execute trades, hold client funds, or recommend the purchase or sale of specific securities. We are not a licensed asset manager under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act (자본시장과 금융투자업에 관한 법률).
Booking and sessions
A consultation is booked through the inquiry form on this website, by email, or by telephone. A session is confirmed when we send a confirmation. Sessions are held at the agreed time and place, including online. The intake sheet and document list for each session are sent after booking.
Fees
Fees are quoted in writing before an engagement begins, in KRW, and the engagement letter sets out the scope of the work. Fees are stated per session or per engagement. We accept no commissions or referral fees from product providers. The exact fee is set with you directly before booking, since the appropriate fee follows the scope of the engagement.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information — real spending, real balances, and real pension statements — so that any plan we build is built on the figures you actually have. A plan built on inaccurate information is not a plan we can stand behind, and we will say so if we detect a material inconsistency.
Limits of our advice
Our advice is based on the information you provide and on the law and market conditions as they stand at the time of the session. Pension rules, tax rules, and market conditions change. A retirement plan is a living record, not a guarantee. We do not promise investment returns, and we do not promise that a plan will not need to change. The annual review exists precisely because plans must be revisited.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full on the Refund page. In brief: a session may be rescheduled free of charge with 48 hours’ or more notice; a cancelled engagement may be refunded in part as set out there.
Mail-order registration
We hold Mail-Order Registration 제2026-서울강남-2262호 under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce etc. (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률).
Liability
Our liability for a consultation is limited to the fee paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited under Korean law. We are not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of a plan that was built on information you provided that was inaccurate.
